FYP “HinoPAK Vehicle Tracking and Management System” awarded funding
from ICT R&D fund. The project is an android based tracking system. The
core idea is to track assets using GPS coordinates from the android
device (sent using SMS or GPRS to the server). The coordinates are then
used to calculate the speed, ETA, travelled route and miscellaneous
variables. This information can be seen and managed via secured web
panel.
The 2nd objective of this project is to provide surveillance and
vigilance of the asset. Video feed is sent to the server wirelessly and
will be viewed on a web panel in real time.
